Course Reserves
The library makes it possible for faculty to create course-integrated reading lists and put physical items on course reserve for their students to access.
About Course Reserves
Library resources and instructor-owned items can be placed on reserve at the Just ASC Desk for students in a specific course. Reserves may take the form of physical materials, that are checked out to students at the library service desk, or electronic resources, such as eBooks and journal articles, that are available online. E-reserve items are managed in Leganto, our system for creating convenience and secure reading lists in Brightspace.
To place a physical item on reserve, please complete the form below:
Faculty can place physical library materials and personal copies on the reserve shelf behind the Just ASC Desk. These items are set aside so that students from your course can check them

Readings & Resources in Brightspace: Faculty can create embedded course reading lists within Brightspace using the library tool called Leganto. You can use Leganto to add library resources, open educational materials, websites, and uploaded documents all in one organized, easy-to-access list. For step-by-step instructions, visit our Readings & Resources (Leganto) guide or contact the library to consult with a librarian.
To request library staff assistance generating a reading list, please complete the reserves request form below.
Linking Directly to Library Resources:
Permanent links to library resources can be generated within the catalog or database records for items you want to link to directly in your syllabus or Brightspace course rather than creating a full list. You can also create a link by adding our Open Athens prepend to the beginning of the resource link:
